What's Wrong?

It is easier to be critical than complementry...at least that is true for me. It's not that I see the "glass half empty instead of half full," I'm overall a pretty positive person. But I wonder why it it easy for me to be critical of "church." What makes it easy for Christians to be critical of their church? Critical spirit? Suppressed anger? Unresolved hurt? Gift of discernment? What do you think?

  1. Not being full of the Spirit.
    Not getting their needs met.
Seeing something different in the Bible than at Church.
Being surrounded by people who don't live the gospel.
Reading about power and experiencing none.
Hearing about revival in far away places while being in a dead church.
    Lack of community.

  2. Ok, Ok. You know I have been double dipping...going to a really good church and having services in our home on Sunday nights with some friends. I see all those things wrong with the church that you mentioned...but I had such hope. Drat it.
